The 36-Hour Cancellation Filter

To secure your reservation on our mobile calendar, a mandatory 25% deposit is processed upfront. Cancellations, modifications, or reschedules made within the strict 36-hour window result in immediate forfeiture of your deposit as the late cancellation fee. Moving a slot inside this window requires a brand-new deposit payment.

The Short-Window Booking Exception

Reservations secured within 36 hours of an active block carry an instantly non-refundable deposit. Companion cancellations inside the 36-hour filter forfeit their deposit cleanly, it cannot be applied as a checkout credit toward the main client’s balance.

The Early-Bird & Night-Owl Premium Surcharge

To respect the lifestyle boundaries of the mobile atelier, custom arrival windows scheduled before 9:00 AM or on or after 7:00 PM are subject to an automatic $25 premium surcharge applied seamlessly to your reservation total at checkout.

Punctuality & No-Show Penalties

Rafael operates as a strict early bird, arriving 15 minutes early for environment setup. Doorstep access delays or client unreadiness extending 10 minutes or more past your scheduled hour will result in immediate service forfeiture. The reservation will be canceled as a strict client no-show and automatically billed 100% of the full service price.

Workspace Canvas & Workspace Hygiene Boundary

Except for dry services, hair must arrive freshly shampooed, conditioned, damp, and completely detangled. Guests are warmly requested to provide a well-lit, well-ventilated styling area featuring direct access to a standard electrical outlet and a comfortable chair. To maintain strict professional safety standards, Rafael Styles reserves the right to immediately refuse service and cancel the appointment under our full 100% no-show penalty if an environment contains extreme clutter, pest issues, structural un-cleanliness, or safety hazards that inhibit professional operations.

The Extreme Weather & Power Force Majeure Clause

In the event of severe, hazardous winter climate conditions (active blizzards or black ice highway road closures), severe localized thunderstorms, flash flooding emergency alerts, or structural residential utility failures (sudden home power outages), services will be immediately rescheduled without penalty. In all such instances out of human control, client deposits are completely preserved and rolled directly into a future reservation block.

Travel Tiers & Convenience Fees

Travel convenience fees are applied at checkout based on regional distance: Zone 1 Local ($19), Zone 2 Downtown High-Rises ($23), or Zone 3 North Shore ($34). Garage, valet, or meter fees incurred at locations without free parking will be added directly to your total bill. Every service concludes with a brief 10 to 15-minute clean-up and tool-cooling pack-up window. Private safety waivers, detailed child-canvas guidelines, and property entry requirements are released via your confirmation email immediately upon booking.
